About Us Maratime Vintage Watch Jewelry is located on Long Island, New York. Maralin Canter, with a design background from F.I.T., is the artisan and creator of Maratime. All of the necklaces are skillfully constructed by hand. The authentic gold-filled and gold-plated mechanical (wind-up) watches were manufactured in the 1920’s, 1930’s and 1940’s by companies such as Bulova, Helbros, Elgin, Caravelle, and Gruen. Maralin collects these fine timepieces from antique shops and antique flea markets across the country and restores them to their original beauty. These markets also supply the beautiful vintage beads and chains used in these creative pieces.
